Actually I just put down some pretty pictures of Gila Monsters. Now I'll look more carefully for different ones and stick them in a P.S. I myself have never seen an Earless Lizard, but my reptile book tells me that Earless and Zebratails are closely related, but the Earless (obviously) is the one that doesn't have ears. Alas. <br /><br />As for the velvet ants, we would come across them from time to time doing our ant research in Wilcox. That particular species was light brown in color and hourglass shaped - the post-doc I was working with called them "mean peanuts".
